Privacy policy
This policy sets out what personal data we process, for what purpose and for how long. It follows the Swiss Data Protection Act (FADP); for visitors from the EU, the GDPR applies in addition.

Data from the booking form
We process the details you enter in the form: name, email address, phone number, dietary requirements or intolerances, your experience level and your message. The sole purpose is to handle your enquiry and run the retreat. Dietary details are passed to the hotel kitchen where necessary for your catering.
We also store technical details of the submission: IP address, browser identifier, referring URL and any campaign parameters (UTM). These serve abuse prevention and let us see which channel enquiries arrive through.
For a booking we also store the room you choose, whether you are booking together with others and the name(s) of the person(s) you give, and whether you are joining the optional fire ceremony.
Server log data
Each time the site is accessed, our web server stores technically necessary details: IP address, date and time, page requested, referring URL, browser and operating system. They serve secure operation and troubleshooting, are not combined with other data and are deleted automatically after about 10 days.
Retention: up to two years after the retreat, after which the data is deleted unless a statutory retention obligation applies.

- Payment provider: TO CONFIRM — for processing payments.
Cookies and web analytics
The site works without cookies. Analytics services that set cookies are only loaded once you click “Accept” in the “Cookies and analytics” notice (consent; for visitors from the EU, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). If you choose “Essential only”, none of them is loaded. We store your choice only in your browser’s local storage (entry “ye_consent”), not as a cookie, and you can change it at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.
Google Analytics 4
Only if you agree in the cookie notice do we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google Analytics sets cookies (e.g. _ga) and records which pages you visit, for how long, and from which device type and approximate location. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA; Google is certified under the EU-US and Swiss-US Data Privacy Frameworks. Data is deleted after 14 months. You can withdraw your consent at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer.
Google Search Console
We use Google Search Console (Google Ireland Limited) to see how our site appears in Google Search and to detect technical errors. No cookies are set on this site for this and no data is collected from you. Google only provides us with aggregated statistics (e.g. search terms, number of impressions and clicks, position, country, device type) that do not identify individual people. To confirm that we own the site, a verification code is placed in the page source or in the domain’s DNS.
Fonts and links to other services
All fonts are loaded from our own server; there is no connection to Google Fonts or other font providers. If you tap the WhatsApp button, WhatsApp opens (WhatsApp Ireland Limited) and WhatsApp’s privacy policy applies from then on. Merely displaying the button sends no data to WhatsApp.
Your rights
You may request access to the data we hold about you at any time, as well as its correction or deletion. A short message to the address above is enough.
